Okay, White Girls

An experimental container for white women & femmes that names and addresses some of the emotional deficits of whiteness as they live within us. This work aims to complement didactic/intellectual social justice discourse through deeper, healthier relationality to ourselves, one another, and the animate world.

We’ll look at white supremacy through the lens of attachment trauma, animist practice, and somatic experience, and learn practical skills for developing self-love and self-compassion that can make us better accomplices.

This program is especially for folks working towards social justice that does not require living in a state of constant dysregulation, perpetual guilt, or fear of abandonment. It includes:

  • A review of the attachment traumas that white supremacy gives white women and explorations in healing them

  • Practical skills for tolerating the distress of nuance, changing the narratives that orchestrate our lives, and developing a kinder inner voice

  • Deeper access to self-compassion and self-love so that supremacy of any kind has no place to land within us
